Called to serve - ready to grow

Over the many seasons of my life, I have grown through both the highs and the lows. I firmly believe that every trial and every hardship carries lessons that shape us, refine us, and prepare us for what comes next. Each season has stretched me, strengthened me, and deepened my understanding of leadership, service, and growth.

God created me as a dreamer. I am constantly seeing possibilities, envisioning new ideas, and imagining what could be. The challenge for a dreamer is discernment—knowing which ideas to develop quietly, which to pursue boldly, and which to release so others can carry them forward.

Right now, I believe I am stepping into a season of sharing and encouraging.

In August 2025, I stepped away from Giving Grace, the nonprofit I founded and led for nine years. It was time to focus on my family—my children and grandchildren—and embrace a season of rest and reflection. That pause allowed me to look back over the past 48 years and recognize the consistent threads woven throughout my life: serving others, leading with purpose, building healthy teams and families, and creating strong systems and processes that support sustainable growth.

My knowledge has not come from theory alone. It has been built through hands-on experience—starting businesses, launching programs, leading nonprofits, reading, researching, and learning alongside others. I have learned humility through hardship. I have learned to extend grace to others and to myself. Most importantly, I have learned how to take difficult seasons and transform them into growth—for myself and for those I serve.

I believe God is now calling me to share the skills, insights, and lessons I have gained.

Serve and Grow Consulting was born out of that calling. My heart is to walk alongside small businesses and nonprofits as they dream, serve their communities, and grow through the process. Growth can be exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming. I want to help bring clarity, structure, and encouragement so that vision turns into sustainable impact.

The path forward will continue to evolve, just as life does. As I begin this new chapter, my desire is simple: to serve fellow dreamers on their journey. I may not have every answer, but I promise to walk with you, help you ask the right questions, build healthy systems, and pursue growth with purpose.

Let’s serve well. Let’s grow wisely. And let’s build something that lasts.
